School Board Approves New Cell Phone Policy

At the New Kent County Public Schools School Board Work Session held on Monday, July 22, 2024, the NKCPS School Board approved a new cell phone policy, which will be implemented at the start of the 2024-2025 school year.

This policy will be incorporated into our student code of conduct and help us align with Governor Youngkin's Executive Order 33 well before the January 1, 2025 deadline.

Schools will provide more information about implementation and consequences in the weeks to come. The information will also be reviewed at back-to-school events and orientations.
